The lag was in the TV. The Samsung have a setting called “Game Mode”. Turn that on and the lag disappears. Pinball is fun again.

First HD test
As some of you have seen om my Twitter lately I have begun my HD convertion. I tried my new TV for the first time today and it is amazing. I have all HDMI going to my AVR and one HDMI to the TV, finally an optical SPDIF from the TV to the AVR for TV sound. All is fine and awesome untill I start my current favourite game, Zen Pinball. There is a lag somewhere. When I press L1 or R1 there is a 1/10 delay until I see and hear them react. Haven’t have time to test any more games.
I will try to see if I can disable all processing of the image to see if that helps, next I’ll try to connect the HDMI directly to the TV and finally I will try to connect it to my parents Sony HDTV.

Pretty much every Monday we eat indian food. At the tables there (besides good food) they have these hilarious signs which they probably got with the wine they offer.
Amiga and C64 authentic music
Some crazy dude hooked up a bunch of C64 and later an Amiga to an automatic recording system and recorded pretty much everything produced on the great machines from Commodore. Now you can listen to your favourites without lame emulation. Listen to them as they should sound, as you remember them.

Whole bunch-o-stuff
I got a whole bunch of stuff today. I got the Star Trek Collectors Edition DVD with an Enterprise model, I got a batch of Chris Hülsbeck CDs from SynSoniq and there was a sale at work were they got rid of old rental DVDs and blu-rays.
